At Eazy Garden, our commitment to the environment is paramount. We have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to become a carbon neutral business by the year 2028. This is not just a target for us, but a commitment to our planet and future generations.
Outlined below is our comprehensive plan designed to help us achieve this significant milestone. Our strategy is not just about reducing our carbon footprint, but also about fostering a symbiotic relationship with nature. We firmly believe that we don’t just work with nature, we are part of it. Our aim is to ensure that nature not only survives but thrives, and in return, it helps us to grow and prosper.
We are excited about this journey towards sustainability and we are committed to keeping you updated on our progress. Together, we can make a difference.
As mentioned above our mission is to be a carbon neutral business and to help achieve this we have identified a few key areas:
- Install solar panels to create our own reliable energy at head office.
- Install light sensors at head office to reduce energy consumption and light pollution.
- Increase use of natural light at head office.
- Implement more paper less processes.
- Introduce zero emission tools to reduce pollution.
- Introduce zero emission vehicles to reduce pollution.
- Implement better routes to sites and head office to reduce travel.
- Re – use waste materials as much as possible.
- Use materials from sustainable sources.
Our strategic plan to help us reach our ultimate objective involves a dedicated commitment to achieving ISO 14001 accreditation. This internationally recognised standard will demonstrate our commitment to environmental management. To this end, we will be implementing robust systems and processes that will not only help us achieve this accreditation but also ensure that we maintain it in the long run.
In addition to this, we are keen on staying at the forefront of technological advancements that can aid in environmental conservation. As new, cleaner, and greener technologies emerge, we will actively seek to invest in them. This is a testament to our commitment to continuously improve our environmental performance and reduce our carbon footprint.
We also have our own comprehensive environmental policy in place, which we strictly adhere to. This policy guides our operations and ensures that we consistently meet our environmental objectives and targets.
However, our environmental concerns extend beyond emissions. We are equally concerned about noise pollution. As quieter machines and equipment become available, we will look to invest heavily in these. This investment will not only benefit the environment but also our clients and our teams working out in the field. By reducing noise pollution, we aim to create a more pleasant and productive working environment for our teams and a more peaceful and enjoyable outdoor space for our clients.
